From one instructor to another
I built GradeLikeMe because I needed it.
I'm an active adjunct instructor teaching across multiple colleges, and I still grade student work regularly. Like a lot of adjunct instructors, I've finished a full workday only to start grading that evening—and watched the clock get closer to midnight with submissions still left. Grading is an important part of teaching, and I wasn't looking to hand that responsibility to AI. I wanted a responsible way to use AI to make the repetitive, time-consuming parts of grading more efficient while keeping the instructor in control. I built GradeLikeMe first for my own teaching, and when it worked in my grading workflow, I decided to share it with other instructors facing the same workload.
